you gotta see

‘Junebug’ and ‘Thumbsucker’– both great movies. They are all about humans, and idiosyncracies, and differences, and intolerance, and love. It’s way better than watching the grousing Olympics announcers, who seem to delight in focusing on faults in (seemingly) perfect athletes’ performances. We keep hearing Littlest muttering from the other room, “well I’d like to see YOU do better!”.

We are missing our Longhorn’s football trick: mute the tv; turn on the radio. It keeps the blood pressure down.

Tom Cruise

has a big ole hookie nose, at least in the OLD DAYS (like Top Gun, which I just watched). Plus his ass is short.
